Living a childless life

Today’s excerpt from Nobody’s Father in the Toronto Star is Bryan Steinnagel’s “Living a childless life.” It’s an intimate look at the process couples go through in deciding whether or not to have kids when they may not be on the same page and are feeling the force of family expectations at the same time. It’s a great, utterly honest piece that makes for a very engaging read.

Bryan lives near Toronto, where he makes prosthetic limbs at a children’s rehabilitation facility. He is one of the many contributors to the book who is not a writer by trade but had an interesting story to tell and did a great job with putting it down on paper.
